Way, way back in the dark ages…

Like. 1990, maybe.

I rented some cheesy sci-fi movie. I don't really remember what it was. A bunch of people on a spaceship.

But there was this one scene… The spaceship had some kind of simulator thing, maybe like a Star Trek holodeck.

And there was this one scene…

Two of the characters, finding themselves falling, made love in the pouring rain by a pond in a forest in the simulator.

You should know that this was, like, essentially porn to my thirteen year old self. And, man, I'm glad I rented that a night my parents were out…

Anyhoo.

It's raining now. Absolutely pouring. And, you know what? Having sex in the rain probably, in reality, sucks. I wouldn't know.

But you know what? When it's coming down like this, like it is tonight?

I think of that scene. And I think of you. And I think that, if I were going to ever try it…
